Suggestion: Restore the old way for split screen

In a recent update, it became much easier to remove a split screen, which I think was helpful for many users. However, I'd really like to be able to remove a split screen when I need to, but then to easily recover it again when I need to see the second resource. This would look like restoring the way the split screen was before logos 6, just having a little unobtrusive bar at the bottom or top of the screen that you can drag up/down to bring back your split screen.
