Text Size selection

Currently selecting text size is based on selecting between a number of distinct text sizes. Can this be changed so that the text size selection is truly a scroll bar that the user can use to select any desired text size? I find that the size difference between successive text size settings is sometimes too big, so that the text is either too small or too large.
