Logos Web App Access

I am planning on investing in a new iPad Pro (10.5) for the express puprose of doing Bible study with the Logos Web App and writing sermons. My question is: Will the Logos Web App always be available to me as an owner of Logos 7, or is this access temporary?

From all I have seen you should continue to have access to the Web App - however as pointed out in recent notes it looks as though some of the web app functionality (as per the desktop) will depend on which features you have access to, either through purchase of a base package or subscription to Faithlife Connect. The only definitive statement on this would need to come from Faithlife themselves.

Before you go down this route I recommend checking if the functionality of the web app on the iPad will support all you want to do. The app is not currently optimised for mobile devices and some functionality - such as the right-click menu - is not available.

And this is exactly where faith life should, I repeat they should, be putting their efforts. Ensuring that as much functionality that is on the desktop be also in the Web app. They should also be ensuring that the Web app gives you the same access to your books and datasets as on the desktop whether you have a subscription or outright ownership.

I don't disagree but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. I was referring to the specific question of accessing the web app from mobile devices - which isn't Faithlife's major focus at the moment.

A lot of development effort is going into the web app - and some things, such as the new notes system, are being developed there first.

They should also be ensuring that the Web app gives you the same access to your books and datasets as on the desktop whether you have a subscription or outright ownership.

As far as I know having access to books / datasets on the desktop - either through subscription or ownership - is the same in the web app environment with a couple of exceptions:

At one point - mainly for licencing reasons - some resources weren't available on the web app. I don't know if this is still the case
If the particular feature hasn't been implemented on the web app - but that's not then a licensing restriction.
