The Verbum blog a week or so back was on the Church Fathers. https://blog.verbum.com/2018/02/doctors-of-the-church-what-who-why/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=feedpress.me&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ScriptureStudySoftware

It occured to me that my collection rules may be useful to some. Note I also have an ACELO collection which simply collects these together. I don't recall when I last verified these against the inconsistencies in author names that actually appear in my collections. And note they are not called "doctors" in all traditions.

Thank you MJ. I will put those to good use.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is an ACELO collection and how does one combine them together?

ACELO is my abbreviation for Anglican (high)-Catholic-Eastern Orthodox-Lutheran (high)-Oriental Orthodox that are very close to each other in canon, worship, theology ... To combine them put the collection names on the plus side of collections and remove any outliers - you may have none.

Thanks again. For some reason I have not realised that existing collections could be combined like that.

I just gave it a go. So simple and such a time saver. Tip of the week right there [:)]
