Has anyone been able to use these for searches or sorts?
Searches, yes. They work like the Find box in Clippings and Notes, which is to say they are merely a filter. If you do Ctrl+F and enter a tag, it will show you those Prayer list items that have that tag in them. For that matter, Ctrl+F will match anything anywhere in the prayer item; it doesn't have to be a tag. So I guess the tags don't really add any functionality that putting those keywords in the body of the prayer item would give you. At least I haven't discovered anything else you can do with them. Sorting, for example.
