From the 7.14 beta 1 release notes:

The Send-to-Sermon context menu item is now available for images from the Factbook media section and Media Tool edit mode.
The Send-to-Sermon context menu item now displays the name of the sermon document where the image is being sent.

This works well in Factbook but I was surprised to see that only one Sermon document is shown - even if more than one is open. It seems to show the one that was last accessed.

So I don't really understand what value this provides as we aren't able to choose between Sermon documents.

Am I missing something?

If more than one is open, yes. If no Sermon doc is open, it uses the last modified.

One use case would be to send to the last Sermon you were working on, but don't have open. We thought of listing all open Sermons (following the paradigm to "add note," but thought it wasn't really needed. Do you often work on more than one sermon at a time?

That makes sense.

I am not normally writing more that one sermon at a time but will often have more than one sermon document open - particularly when preaching through a series and wanting to refer back to what was said in previous weeks.

But as I would want to position a piece of media in a particular place it is reasonable to expect I would have that sermon document in focus! So I think the current behaviour is fine.

On a related note - would it be worth changing the text in the menu to make it clear this is sending to a Sermon Document as opposed to just having the name of the Document? I can see me trying to work out whether the item in the menu is a Notes Document, a Clipping Document, a Sermon Document or something else!
