Anyone else worried..

Anyone else worried about the recent “Prepub Price Drops”? Many are CP items, which in a sense defeats the purpose of CP.
The latest in the list is the Classic Commentaries on the Pastoral Epistles upgrade going now for $19.99 former prepub price of $79.99. Wasn’t $19.99 the closing price on CP?
Anyway, good for those interested in the set.
Just wondering if anyone else noticed.

I haven't paid much attention to them previously, but I searched for this one and a number of other similar sets were returned in the search and were also priced at about $2 per volume, although not all. Many are in production. https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=Classic+Commentaries+on+the+Pastoral+Epistles+upgrade

There was actually some confusion surrounding this, but it ended up closing at $13

DAL, have you seen other types of former CP collections (i.e. collected works) at near CP levels, or just the Classic Commentaries? I don't mind giving others a chance to get a deal. It does give one more reason to hesitate purchasing something, formerly offered in CP, at any higher price!

Why? Because--as with Classic Commentaries and Studies on the Pastoral Epistles Upgrade (10 vols.)--the price you have to pay for an item on Pre-Pub might go down before you have to pay it when it actually ships? (I would be pleased if that happened to all of my Pre-Pubs!) Your reasoning only makes sense to me if the price drop occurs after Pre-Pub has ended with the publication of the volume/collection, but even then there is the PrePub pricing guarantee that protects everyone for awhile and subscribers to Now still longer.

What, me worry? No, I love price drops. As long as I'm protected or covered.[:)]

I am very pleased to see price drops... PD works are typically a fair to go value in CP and too over priced to be worth it when they are released. I have even gotten the occasional CP item that has so many errors in it as to be virtually unusable... One Underhill book i think it was I had to go to CCEL to read what i wanted because the errors made it unusable and while most CP works are better there are enough obvious errors to make it very frustrating (yes I usually report the errors). So I am very happy to hear FL is reducing them to a more reasonable price. Because if I paid for some of them what they want with the large number of errors i usually come across I would be asking for a refund.
