Choosing downlowad or DVD

I would like to download V4, but I am nervousthat if my computer crashes I will lose all of my base package and have to buy another pacakge.  Is this true, or is there a way that logos actually will let you redownload the base package already purchased.

Your fears are groundless. Be sure that if you have L3 that you sync your licences with the Logos Server vefore installing L4. That will insure that everything is up to date there and will download. One of the things I like about Logos is you buy something once and its yours for life. You never have to rebuy it. Should you crash, you just restart and it will pick up where it left off in my experience. Be aware however that your resources will be downloaded from the Logos server when you install L4. Depending on the number of resources you own, the download and then the indexing can last for 24 hours are more. If you have problems the folks on this forum are more that happy to help. God bless.

You can always re-install Logos4, and your documents (notes, collections etc) and resources will be available from the "cloud" . Your greatest fear should drive you to seek a backup solution for your computer, even if you just backup Logos4 to a USB flash drive.
