So I have a chance to take a course through Logos Connect Essentials, but I am having a hard time trying to figure out which one to choose. If anyone has some recommendations, that would be greatly appreciated!
Addressed in this thread https://community.logos.com/forums/p/160985/961388.aspx#961388
Any course?
Chapell on preaching is good, unless you already own his book "Redeeming the Expository Sermon."
Some Greek or Hebrew or the famous Learn to Use Biblical Greek and Hebrew.
Also,
among others.
What interests YOU would be a good place to start.

Thanks, I will check the thread

Yeah, I am open to any course. I was thinking of the Greek or Hebrew course or possibly the ones you mentioned too. I have the Chapell textbook you are talking about. So, the courses don't really add anything the textbook doesn't address?
There are so many courses its a bit like saying which book shall I read next :-)
If you want a book study these by Block are good:-

https://www.logos.com/product/56418/mobile-ed-ot317-book-study-judges
If you want something more general , I personally really enjoyed

This is pretty basic but got me thinking in different ways which was the purpose of the course
Bock is pretty good as well :-

Thanks for the feedback! I will look into those!
Obviously this will depend on what interests you. Our entire course list (including some in pre-pub or not yet available) can be found here: https://www.logos.com/mobile-ed/courses
I really like BI201 The Story of the Bible by Michael Goheen. Bryan Chapell is great on preaching (CM151). I think both courses on the intertestamental period are great if that interests you: BI291 The Apocrypha by David deSilva or NT202 A Survey of Jewish History and Literature from the Second Temple Period by Joel Willitts.
If you are interested in learning something a bit outside the traditional Biblical/Theological Studies, I learned a lot from CS251 History and Theology of the African American Church by Carl Ellis and TH191 Missional Approach to World Religions by Goheen.
