Hayford's electronic Spirit-filled library

I have this library and had all the books unlocked, however my system crashed and lost everything even my backup. I contacted the ministry and they could not assist me. Is ther any way that I can get all of the books unlocked again. I have trie just about everything. (hayfiord's Electronic Spirit-filled Librayr, Logos 2.1c)

You say you have tried everything, I presume this includes reinstalling with the original floppies or CD.

If you have the original disk(s) but they are not working, then you might want to try Logos customer service. If you don't have the originals, and don't have a backup, you unfortunately don't have anything.

Hi Brian,

Are you using Logos 3 or Logos 4?

If Logos 3, have you done a "Synchronize License" before your computer crashed? If so, after you re-install Logos 3, simply do another "Synchronize License" and you should be able to download the books from Logos' website.

If Logos 4, your licenses should have synchronized automatically. The new installation should recognize you had those books.

If this is too complicated or these steps don't work, call Customer Service on Monday.

I do have the original CD's however the original books are unlocked and you need an unlock code to unlock the rest. That is where I am currently at. This is an older version of the software, version 2.1c. There is an unlock book option under tools, at this point you can select the books you want unlocked and a code appears in a window towards the bottom. You provide this code and the support personal give you the unlock code after you purchase the books. I have called Thomas Nelson and they cannot assist me.

Who did you pay to unlock the additional books from, Logos or Thomas Nelson? They are the ones who should have a record of your purchase.

Unless you upgraded at some point to Logos 3 and syncronized your license with them, Logos has no way of knowing about 3rd party publishers sales.and unlocks. There are some other Nelson CD collections of Logos books that are inexpensive and include most if not all of what you are looking for. It might be the best way to go if the records of your unlocks are lost.
