Logos4 does not use the correct Windows Date Format, but instead appears to use US format.
In New Zealand and many others, 4/9/2010 is September, not April.
Windows Vista32, SP2. Language = English(New Zealand)
If Short Date cannot be localised then April 25 format is acceptable!
YES - Acceptable to me to.
I also note on looking again, the incorrect format is only used during the UI while changing date, but once saved, the "April 25" is used on the Prayer List items.
This is an issue for the lectionaries as well, and calendar-based devotionals.
I reported this a long time ago, and nobody ever noticed my post. I put it in the wrong forum, that's why!

Thanks Rosie.
Yes - I expect it will apply in many places all over the code.
(Off topic now, but I'm going to attempt to NOT add short notes like my two lines above, so if I dont always say thanks, I still love you as my sister. I'm attempting to teach myself to avoid writeing "Me too" and "Thanks" posts here, or where I disagree with someone but its not important I say so. See if I can avoid adding noise that adds little. I would rather Bob and his team can focus on the bits where we say something useful. One of my other posts now has 130+ replies, so I'm avoiding it for now - not adding more noise there.)

Jim, nobody needs to add their "thanks" to the end of a post (or in reply to an email) in this day an age in order not to be thought rude or unloving. There's way too much online communication for us all to read as it is, so I appreciate your motives in cutting back. Blessings.
I've submitted your request.
Any further developments on the date format thingy?
I have come across the same issue in the Passage Guide Handout - Australia has the same date format as NZ
