It would be really great to have those two little dashes that expand the column when you click on them incorporated into the columns of Logos 4.

Which "columns" are you talking about? You can already do this with most boundaries with which it would be useful (tiles, table of contents, etc.), even if we don't take a huge amount of space to show a drag handle.

The one place that prompted the post is the Library pane where the Titles and the Authors are alway truncated. A simple click on the resize mark would be handy to display the full text.
You might also like to encourage the government to tax titles longer the 10 words - but don't let this deflect you from your primary role. :-)
