A18: Bug right-clicking in file menu

From release notes: Right clicking on a document brings up a context menu which allows you to open the document in a new tab or a new window or delete it.
True. However, there are also tool tips that pop up for these menu items, and they are occupying the same space as the context menu. Something needs to give.
Personally, I really dislike the implementation of this feature. Context menus for menu items? How un-Mac-like is that? That must violate a Mac development guideline somewhere.
But maybe I'm wrong. Anyone have other Mac programs where the menu items have context menus?
Suggested fix: Let the menu items have sub-menus off to the right. See the bookmarks menu in Safari if you need an example.

My Contact Manager "Daylite" from Marketcircle (which has won several Mac awards) uses context menus and even has a great tool where I can control what is in each context menu for each specific type of contact.James Garriss said:Context menus for menu items? I would rather have context menus than a string of sub-menus that take up an acre of screen real-estate. I have been using Mac since 1984, and I will take function over "Mac-likeness" any day. [H]

James:
A small bug, but a bug that seems to be to me as well. I noticed if you get to your selection quickly and right-click before the description window appears it won't appear at all thus not getting in the way of the context window. However I have filed this.
