Does anyone know how to unlock the Logos4 folder in the folowing path, all of the sub folders are locked as well, I have tried using properties, I have Admin priviledges.  It is trying to update file:///C:/Users/Bob/AppData/Local/Logos4/System/es/Libronix.DigitalLibrary.Controls.resources.dll

thanks,

Bob D

If you were performing a software update which failed - you will need to run L4 with Admin privilege. Use Update Now (in Command box) to launch the update.

    Bob,

    Sorry - I dont have Windows7-64 (only Vista32) so I can't directly help.

I'm guessing you are running an install or update to the Logos4 application, in which case, I suggest you check the Windows logs. In some cases, Windows will write useful diags for a failing install. If you can find such a report, it might directly give you the hint needed. Failing that, maybe post a portion of those errors here, and they will assist whoever is going to help you next.

Also, enable Logos4 logging if possible, in case something gets logged there too. I'm not sure if you are installing from nothing, or its an upgrade. The more exactly you are able to describe the problem, with logs and version numbers etc, its easier for the help to have the right focus.

I fear I'm teaching you to suck eggs, and you know all this, but I wanted to direct you to check the Windows logs as no=one else had replied.

EDIT: OK, Dave has replied. Try what he says. If still no, check the logs. Good luck.
