right click issues

I'm having a problem when I right click on a word.  The search for a dictionary goes into an endless loop.  I hit lemma, selection, etc and never get a result.

 I'm also having an issue opening Logos 4.  I have to hit ctrl+alt+del and close any processes that are running L4 and then open L4.  I think L4 isn't closing properly. 

Any ideas?

The log may be helpful but it would help to upload an image of the context menu (after the right click and selection of lemma).

Again, show us an image of Task Manager whilst opening and after closing.

Dave-

Here is the screen dump of the processes running:

 

As you can see, Logos.exe is running (8th one down) before I even start the program.  I have to cancel the process and then start the program to get it to run.  L4 must not be closing correctly. 

Here is the screen after I get Logos running and am trying to righ-click a word:

 

The boxes under My Word Guide keep blinking and never come up with a dictionary.  Any ideas on what to do?

You can try disabling some background processes (like ItunesHelper or sql programs) using Msconfig or killing them in Task Manager. If you have a Security program then see if you can stop it scanning the Logos4 folder or temporarily disable it.

If it had been working successfully for a while try to remember what changes were made before this.

I have disabled the security program and it helped a little - thanks.  I think I have to tackle the big problem first - Logos is not closing properly.  I closed the program this morning and then opened the task manager.  Logos.exe was still up!  Do you think this is a bug that I should report, a problem with my system, or something else?  In your opinion, do you thinks it's wise to uninstall L4 and reinstall?  Thanks for taking the time to answer.

It is the obvious solution but it may not resolve the issue. If it originally ran OK the issue is an incompatibility with another program. The quickest way would be Method 2 at  http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers. First backup the Logos4 folder and then completely uninstall L4.

Have you prioritized any of your resources. Before reinstalling, try prioritizing 5 dictionaries, 5 Greek Lexicons and your Hebrew Lexicons. This may help the program locate the information it appears to be looking for.

Let us know if you need assistance prioritizing your resources.

I have more than 5 prioritized resources in each of those categories - thanks for the suggestion and the offer to help do it,  Do you suggest a reinstall or something else?
