Floating Panel active with Main Window

I'm trying to set up some "floating panels" in L4 to take advantage of multiple monitors. E.g., L4 on one monitor, wordprocessor on another monitor.

When I "activate" L4, the "floating panel(s)" on the 2nd monitor stay hidden behind my wordprocessor. So, is there a way to make the main window and all floating panels come to "top" when I activate the main window of L4? FWIW, I'm not trying to make a panel "always on top," as it would then just cover up screen real estate when L4 is not the active program.

And, if I've missed communicating this, let me know and I'll give it another try!

When you have a floating window Windows handles it as separate So you would have to "activate" both windows for them to rise above anything that might be over them. I use Alt+Tab to accomplish this.

Any thoughts that future versions would tie all panels together? E.g., in Adobe Photoshop when active all panels come to the front for use, then activating another program on another screen will bring that program to the front, often covering those add'l panels . . . something like this?

I would welcome this as an option. I haven't read anything that would indicate that Logos was thinking this way. Perhaps a suggestion on the Uservoice forum?
