BUG: Scrolling is REALLY non-responsive

Hey devs,
Scrolling seems really non-responsive on my system, especially when scrolling through guides.
Here are my logs. Perhaps something is going on behind the scenes I don't know about. indexer is not running.

Hi Michael
Scrolling does seem to have a few issues still to be ironed out. I haven't commented on it recently because I assumed that the matter would be dealt with in the optimisation phase.
In general it is too slow to start, like a teenager in the morning, and then rushes away, like a teenager in their fathers car.

Michael/Mike:
This may be subjective but I'm not seeing any scrolling issues in guides or books. What are you using to scroll with? The scroll bar/wheel/arrow keys? In guides are they finished prior to your scrolling through them?

Guides were finished (initially I was using a custom guide, but problem is also present in Vanilla guides as well) Primarily use scroll gesture on trackpad, but arrow keys also get a slow response. This does not happen all the time, but pretty regularly.

I'll post your bug.

Hi Tommy
I guess the matter of acceptable scrolling response is subjective.
But I just opened a floating pain (the first book in my library) beside a Safari window.
Using the button on my apple mouse to move up and down the Safari window always brings me back to the same place.
The Logos window seems never to do that.

For the record I submitted the bug. However I'm not sure I understand what you mean when you say it brings you back to the same place when you move up and down with your mouse ball/wheel. Do you mean when you "flick" it arrives at pretty much the same spot depending on speed and pressure? Then when you do the same thing in L4 it is inconsistent?

You understand me perfectly.

I'm glad we are on the same page. I'd bet this is a beta thing they would perfect. it sounds like beta "polish" to me.
