Here are my stats:
25 pre-pubs totaling $939.32 if they all came due tomorrow.
I'd like to see some come through
I have less than some, but too many for me.
Too many to count, totalling $15,600. I hope they don't all ship within this year, or next year. And I sort of hope they stop putting so many new tempting things out in pre-pub. However I know it's up to me to be disciplined about it, not Logos's fault at all that I'm so impulsive. I do sometimes remove things from my pre-pub cart after sitting on them for a while, once I realize that I don't really need or want them.
UPDATE: OK, I just counted. 159 items, but many of those are multi-volume works. I'm not going to bother adding up all of those.
Like Floyd and Rosie...LOTS, but only about a third of Rosie's total $$$.
With such a huge library and growing, are any of you actually benefiting from them by reading them or referencing them? Or just go to your favorite resources, making the rest practically useless?
Maybe if Mark Barnes implemented a "View my Pre-pubs orders" like his "View my library" visual bookshelf thing, we'd be a bit more cautious about ordering so much stuff... [;)]
The visual bookcase is awesome!
I agree! I'm hoping Logos decides to integrate it into a future version. I've put that up as a suggestion on UserVoice, so if you like it and haven't voted for it yet, do so: http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/642271-a-visual-bookshelf-feature-like-mark-barnes-s-cool
22 pre-pubs totaling 1415.45
I need these things to take some time.
I have 34 pre-pubs, totalling about $3100...that's bad enough, but the really bad news is that they ALL have N/A by them under the anticipated ship date!!!! [:'(] I really wish a lot of them would be published soon! I could use them now!
20 items totaling $2046 [:)] All have N/A [:(] Some have been there since August 2006 [:S] Some have little hope of ever being published [:'(]
For all of you who are moaning about all your pre-pub anticipated ship dates being N/A, here are a couple that are shipping soon that you might want to consider:
Baker's Dictionary of Practical Theology (one of the few Baker books in pre-pub that is actually cheaper than its SRP; it's about half the retail price)
Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament: A Practical Introduction for Teaching and Exegesis (supposed to be shipping today! order ASAP if you want it) -- see also the note about a Greek Discourse Workshop they're offering in Bellingham, June 3-9; the link is there in the product description; it's being sold as a pre-pub and it's way below 100% of production cost; I wonder if that means they'll only offer the workshop if enough people sign up for it?
Out of 159 pre-pub orders I've got, those are the only ones with anticipated ship dates. [:(] I wonder what they're working on next? This is very addictive!
800.00 worth.
It's sometimes not a good thing. I think that it's sometimes getting in the realm of just buying because things are a good deal, not that we'd need them so badly.
And sometimes purchases can go awry..EXAMPLE:
In counting up my pre pubs, I realized that i had bought the Expositors bible commentary ABRIDGED, and yet I still have the 6 volume version on order....
Why?
Because I had ordered both while I was waiting to decide, then the abridged version shipped and I forgot to make a decision between the two....so now I had to cancel the 6 volume edition....
33 PrePubs for just over $1100. Some are wonderful prices which I got on Community Pricing. Others have been there for ever and a day, though only 3 are still gathering interest. All are N/A at the moment. That's not too bad, as the £-$ rate is pretty poor just now. (I like it when it is pushing $2-£1. It's under $1.50-£1 just now) Also it gives me time to recover form the cost of March Madness!
110 prepubs, $12,692. Many have been in there for years. Hopefully they don't all come due this year!
I do like to read....
20 for approximately $1000. I might cancel a few of them though, some of them I think might be more useful to me in print...
I don't know how many; however, my prepub bottom total is $14,164. If these come all this year or even next, I'll have to cancel a few. Don't want Logos to be too much in a hurry here because I'd like these books at a favourable price! *smile*

Nice to know I'm not the only one in the stratosphere! [:)]
I have 6, totaling $248.90:
1 Greek Discourse Grammar, marked to ship today
4 from Community Pricing ( great deals )
The Hebrew/Greek DVD set ( most of my total )
Kaye

Which is why Logos should work faster to get these produced. They lose sales over time--I have done the same thing as you Rosie. Some pre-pubs are purely impulse buys...not a good thing! [:O]
10 items: 345.75 (I do have a little self control!)
I only have 22 items on pre-pub for a total of $706.39. I cleaned my pre-pub list out a couple of months ago because it had gotten to $2K+ (some of that was part of the Zondervan bundle). A couple of "bigger ticket" items, I pulled right before they came due...and now have them in a payment plan instead of all at once...much easier on the bank account at this time. I have only 2 (1 "shipping" today and 1 in about a week) that are dated and the rest are n/a. I have several that are a result of CP and that has kept the bottom line very low.
34 for a total of $3,265.34.
18 items for a total of $1028.37. I recently trimmed down my list and don't see myself adding to it any time soon. That is, if I can keep myself from browsing the Pre-Pub page.[:)]
52 pre-pubs totalling $4600, not counting Discourse Grammar which is supposed to be ready today (but still doesn't show "Live"). About half are still in the "Gathering Interest" status.
I tend to make last minute decisions. I normally break down a few days before shipping. Because of this, I only have a handful of pre-pubs. Maybe 5. I currently own Platinum with many extras (WBC, MacArthur NT, TOTC/TNTC, etc.) so I feel like I have more than I need already.
Discourse Grammar which is supposed to be ready today (but still doesn't show "Live").
Discourse Grammar should be out there now!
22 prepubs @ $1722.10
20 pre-pubs for $896
Still wondering about the missing Samaritan Pentateuch bundle.
It's not missing in my pre-pubs ... although finances indicates a few more things ought to be missing. [;)]
78 at the moment for about $7200.
Now that my wife reads the forum, I can't freely say... [:#] About half as many as I used to have and a tenth of what I'd like to have. My wife would say many, too many, if she only knew.
