Thanks Tavis. I love Craig's ideas about how to creatively use little bits of unscheduled time.
The only thing that I would add is that this needs to be held in tension with not filling every bit of unscheduled time to the point that there is no margin. The principle of sabbath and rest need to also be considered. As the saying goes, "this is a tension to be managed, not a problem to be solved". I'm pretty sure Craig would agree with this if he was asked.
