A18 Crash after a while

And I have remembered - while fiddling about on the iMac I customised the Home Page using the option on the bottom of the screen, I can remember turning off devotionals and excerpts and turning on pre-pubs and community pricing.

I note that these changes have not been synced to the mac book.

I wonder if these changes to my home page were the cause of the trouble - unfortunately I can't change them back until Friday.

I got an occasional crash also with A18, however in mine it was when I was scrolling in a commentary. This happened several times.

Jack was having a similar issue.The idle crashes have to do with some third party library. Please see Dave's response at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/15453/118140.aspx#118140

To use the politicians response; 'I hear what you say'. However it doesn't ring true.

I have the alpha on an imac in the office and on a macbook at home.

The only difference, apart from the platforms is

1. The updates are sometimes delayed on the imac because I am away from the office for a couple of days.

2. I changed the 'customised' options for the home page on the office computer.

The mac book is relatively stable, the imac is unusable.

It will be interesting to see if the situation on the imac improves if I change the options on the home page back.
