I am not sure if I am straining at a gnat here but shouldn't Mark 11:7-8 have a Label for allusion or echo of Zech 9:9-10?
Matthew and Luke do.....maybe Mark's is too vague (?)
I think "complete" is an impossible state, especially with echoes and loose allusions.
But I'll slate this pair for review. Thanks for mentioning it!
Hi Mike.
I'll update the internal data to add an allusion between Mark 11:7 and Zechariah 9:9. An update should be available on April 2 (I've missed the internal cut-off for the March 19 resource update).
Matthew 21:5 and John 12:5 both explicitly cite the Zechariah passage. Mark's is much more loose, but annotating as an allusion makes sense.
You mention Luke, I'm guessing Luke 19:35–36. That is not presently annotated, but I will add an allusion to Zech 9:9 there too.
Thanks Rick! I imagine chasing all the allusions is a bit of a "rabbit hole" Powerful tagging to the apostolic fathers though. I am really enjoying the functionality
