Guides are slow to initiate

It could be that this is normal, but it seems to take much longer to load the Guides features than it used to. I hope I attached the log files correctly...

Difficult to tell from logs as my command for Exegetical Guide took twice as long as yours, but it wasn't slow to load 9 verses.
By initiate, do you mean start to display results after entering your passage? How long?
What sections do you have in your EG? Do you filter the Word by Word section e,g. show certain parts-of-speech, show all words? How long does it take to finish loading Jn 3:12-20 in an open panel?

Actually, much faster than has been the case. That loaded in 30 seconds. Yes, when I refer to initiate I'm talking about the time from when I hit the "go" arrow until the material is ready for use. As far as I know, I'm not using any filters, at least I haven't set any. Things certainly seem faster now, I don't know what changed. For the past month or two I have literally been going to make coffee while I waited for things to load. Could be I'm crying wolf, in which case I apologize for wasting your time. Under the guides tab I have Passage Guide, Exegetical Guide, Bible Word Study, Sermon Starter Guide, and topic guide.

Your log indicated you were using Exegetical Guide. "Word by Word" is one of its sections. Note that you can customise the Guide to display only what you are interested in and to speed it up.

I highly recommend this! One additional tip, which I don't see mentioned in either link, is to keep sections collapsed until you're ready to use them. This is especially critical if your guide is part of a link-set!

Thanks, but it is the word by word feature I'm interested in for the exegetical guide. I'm a pastor and routinely look into the specifics of the inflected form of specific words in a passage.

You can keep the other sections closed to improve loading time, but a customised Guide (as above) is more efficient; basically include only the Word by Word section, and use Settings within that section to limit the words that are displayed.

John, the guide in this screenshot loaded for me in ≤1second!
Note: The word-by-word section was the only one I had expanded prior to running this guide, and is the recommended approach.
Here's a screenshot of the settings on the word-by-word section.
Please note that clicking on any of the grayed-out (non-displayed) words, displays the info for that word almost instantaneously. This approach allows you to focus on the words of interest much more easily and speeds up the guide in the process!
