NOTES...HELP

Hello,

I am having a problem with making notes in my Logos 4. i have seen all the videos and they do not answer my question so i am coming to you.

i have made a note on 1 Corinthians 3:1 and titles it "infants in Christ." Now when i am studding another passage of the bible, such as Mark 3, and i want to add a not to verse 5, i will right click on that verse and the box will show up where it says add note...the problem is that next to "add a note" my previous "1 Corinthians 3:1...Infants in Christ" note is there, and it will only allow me to add a note to that note. Can you please help me with this problem? I have allot of notes that i want to add to this program. Thank you and God bless.

What you are missing is that notes come in note files. I don't have the time to draw a picture but are you adding a note through a right click? If so, at the lower right hand side of the popup menu you will see the note files that are open to which you can add the note. You can collect hundreds of notes in a single file. To create a new note file, you use the file tab on the task bar.

If you are not using the right click, then put the focus on the open note file. Just under its tab you'll see an option to add a note. Notes added this way are NOT linked to any reference or text.
