Cannot Read one of My Reading Plans Off or On Line

I have set up a reading plan for How to Write Narrative Sermons. When I start up the iPad, it shows the reading plan. I want to start reading the plan ( I have not tried to access it anywhere before this ). I tap the first reading day and it just shows the wait icon turning and turning and turning continuously. I can manually open the book from the Library no problem.
