Link from one book taking me to another book

I'm in WBC Vol 8, and when I click links such as "see the chart by Block, 411(411 is the link), it keeps taking me to "The New American Commentary: Judges, Ruth" which I don't have, and it wants me to buy.
Anybody got any ideas? :-)

But why doesn't this resources link work within the resource? I mean, if I bought this as a physical book, would it say, "Hey... go buy this other book so you can see what I'm talking about."?

If you own the linked resource, then hovering over the link will provide a small snapshot of the linked material (or you can click on the link and open the linked resource - this is what makes Logos so great!). If you do not own the linked resource, then you are directed outside the resource to purchase it if its available.
If it were a physical book, I believe it would provide an index and bibliography with the information needed to purchase the other book.

Basically yes. He's referencing Block's NAC commentary. He does this frequently throughout the book. It's fairly common practice to refer readers to other works in this way.
Logos hasn't made it less convenient, they've improved it - if you have the book, it will open right to the relevant section at the click of a button.

There's a difference between referencing and needing to include it in a supplemental resource guide. lol He's leaning towards the latter. hahaha
