Any video of IPad/Logos in use?
Would like to see a video of someone using an IPad to get a feel for speed, visuals, etc. . .can someone provide a link if one exists? if not. . .feel free to make one and post.
Thanks

Your wish is my ... not command but plan.
I am doing reviews of all the major ipad apps for CCMag and will be including video as part of that. When I have finished the Logos video I will let you know.
I think there may be some official video on the ipod site, but not sure.

Click on the iPad tab and you will see a series of stills of the iPad Logos app. They say on the site that the video is in the works.

There really isn't a lot of difference. I use them both...a few minor tweaks but the concept is the same on both.

I understand it is basically the same program. What I want to see is the speed of interaction, etc. I have it on my IPhone and while usable it is slower than I would like and a bit small. I want to see if it is optimized (both graphically and speedwise) for a better experience.

Sorry Adam. I see what you are saying. Honestly, for me, the speed is the same. The only measurable difference is that the iPad is just larger. That's what gives the better experience IMO, the size of the screen. That's been my experience.

Kevin, I'm hoping that your [much anticipated] review/video will also talk to the user experience of remote consoling the L4 PC desktop application via the iPAD...both WiFi over Internet (not inside the host LAN) and via the 3G connection.
I'm really on the fence about buying an iPAD--I would only get it to use Logos and to surf the web. Nearly all of my mobile Logos needs are to read books and highlight while I do so. Since iLogos doesn't currently enable the user to highlight, the remote console capability would be especially important for me.
Thank you

Sorry, I cannot comply since I don't have a 3G ipad. I did finish the videos and posted them this morning. I say videos because Youtube has a 10 minute limute and originally it was 16 minutes long. I posted two of them so that I didn't have to cut anything out.
I have not used the Logos iPad app via my remote LogMeIn, but that is not a bad idea for a write up.

Could have been much better but it is what I have.

...Kevin,
Thank you for doing the video...really helps me get my head around the current software capabilities/hardware integration. I appreciate hearing about the capability gaps too. I'm really surprised how quick the app responsiveness is.
Logos, if you've got a development plan to integrate highlighting into the iL4, I'd love to know & get a notional timeline!

I don't agree. I too have both and I find the iPad to be much faster. It's a lot zippier. And the bigger screen size makes all the difference to me.

Hey Kevin. Nice video. I appreciate all the work you've been doing to get the word out about the iPad. Your comments on this forum, your website, and other websites that you write for are making a difference. I find myself agreeing with your views and opinions in most cases. It's nice to know that there's a resource out there to turn to if we have questions about iPad. Thanks again.
