I upgraded from Logos 3 Scholar Silver to Logos 4 Platinum this morning. I did not have time to finish the resource download, so I had to stop it. Now I cannot figure out how to start it back up. What should I do?
Just switch on Logos 4 Mac and it should soon start downloading your new resources. If not (and it can be temperamental) typing update resources in the Command Bar should start it going again.
Unfortunately that didn't work. It said "checking for updates" in the upper right-hand corner, but it did not seem to find anything to download. Any other suggestions?
Make sure that 'update resources' appears in the drop down menu and then click on it.

Did it... yet still no success. I guess I better e-mail support, or make a phone call.
Not a lot of point - this is alpha software and is sold on the basis of there being no telephone support until it is finished.
On the other hand you might get lucky.

Dustin:
Emphasis mine above. Mike is right. It is in Alpha and thus the support given is through here via testers and developers.

Please Note: You may purchase Logos Bible Software 4 for Mac Alpha right now, and use it on Mac or Windows, but there will be no technical support for the Mac version until it becomes a final release. Every two weeks or so, it will automatically download an update, and keep getting better all the time. If you aren’t comfortable with an Alpha release you should probably wait until it is a final release and support is available.
With that said, I don't think someone has suggested to you to try to do a "update resources" command. In the top bar of the program if you type "Update Resources" and then hit enter it will begin to check for resources updates including missing files. After you see "Checking for updates" go away from the left of the word "Layouts" look at the top try and see if you can locate the Logos 4 icon. It will tell you what it is doing if you hover over it with your mouse.
It began to work, and the key seemed to be allowing the initial package to index fully before trying to download updates. Following the initial indexing I shut down the program and restarted, which led to the resources beginning to download.
