Default Library View -- TYPE

When opening the library, is it possible to change the default view?

The "type" view is more intuitive to me, and I would like to see that first rather than having to click twice to see that.

Any suggestions?

I am not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean you want the list sorted by type? I don't think it's possible but I've never tried to find a way to do it.

Unfortunately, the Library doesn't remember its sorting/grouping order when you close it and reopen it. That would be a useful thing to request/suggest in the Suggestions forum and/or on UserVoice (where votes from other users for this feature will get tallied).

You can group the Library by type (by clicking on the Type column heading), which is essentially sorting by type except you have to expand each section to see all the books of that type.

I apparently was not clear - I meant that I didn't think it was possible to make it the default view, which you have confirmed.
