Indexing up to two times a day for two days now

Every time I open up app, I get the preparing library and indexing library. This has happened since Thursday evening's download.

I posted earlier in the week about this same problem. It turned out I did not have enough space on my hard drive, and that appeared to take care of the problem, but now it's happening again.

Also, I have never been able to double-click on anything (like a Hebrew word in Biblia Hebraica) and perform a keylink action. I have prioritized my library, but this has not helped. I am wondering if I lost something or never got something in all these downloads?

This indexing is a real pain in the butt! ... I really hope that this is not something that we can look forward to in future version on a regular basis.

When my machine indexes it hogs up all my resources which brings whatever else I was working to a grinding halt.

What in the name of heaven does it need to index every other day for up to 3 hours at a time?

Have you ever let the computer sleep while Logos4 was trying to index? It could be that the computer is sleeping and thus is disallowing the indexer to finish.

As for you double click action I would need to know what resource you would like to have open so that I can confirm it is something that should work.

1) The indexing occurs while I am actively using the computer; it's not asleep.

2) As far as the double-click, I want to double click in my Biblia Hebraica and have it bring up my BDB.

I don't think I am being clear. I understand that indexing is occurring when the computer is active. My question is, are you letting it sleep prior to the indexing finishing? If you are then the indexing never finishes and upon relaunch starts over again every time you re-awaken the computer.

I can't seem to double click on a Hebrew word in the BHS and have the BDB come up either. I'm finding out if that is a missing feature, or bug. I'll post here with my findings. You can however right-click the word and then select the BDB in the list you will see there on the left of the context menu.

No. I was not letting it sleep prior to the indexing finishing. I'm hoping with the new download, this will be fixed.

I knew I could right-click; however, it takes awhile to load the panel and then BDB.

Be advised that A 19 initiates a complete reindexing of your library. Turn off your sleep ability and let the indexer finish completely. Hopefully the mandatory index will fix your problem.

Its alright if your monitor goes to sleep, just make sure the entire computer doesn't sleep
