Updating License for book or L4 in general

Is there a way to just say "scan license" and have L4 update your license or does it do this with every restatrt?

From what I've seen in logs, Logos checks the license with every restart & updates as necessary.

Was curious have Luther's Galatians in crossway Classics in L3- but it is not showing in L4- have scanned cdrive, sync'd license, restarted L4, but still no luck.

The advice to restart Logos4 for new books is based on the expectation that it should acquire the new licence that way, but the licence server has to be updated first! If it doesn't begin to download within a day I would contact Customer Service as glitches are not unknown!
