Offline Reading
I've been using the offline reading on the iPad and have a feature request (really really really need this). The flashing when changing pages gives me eye strain and a headache. If I have to use logos instead of another Bible program, I find myself closing my eyes during page changes.
Being able to scroll up and down (like in the desktop app or a web page), makes reading much easier on the eyes.
At the very least, could you please add a setting to allow us to adjust the speed of the page change so that the quick flash caused by the fast page slide is not straining on the eyes.

I for one, would HATE the idea of scrolling down pages to read. it's the single hardest aspect of reading on the computer. The iPhone/iPad mode of page turning is far superior, at least to me, as also to the makers of the Kindle, the Nook, and all other ebook readers.

I have 3,600 resources, and the program does not work off-line. No matter what I do I am treated like a non-owner.

Are you logging in with same username and password as you do in Logos 4? You have to, to be treated as a owner.
Then you have to download your resources to your iPad.
1 Open your library
2 Search desired resource
3 Tap blue arrow to the rifht of the resource name
4 Select "Available Offline" and then "Done"
Your download will begin and when finished you can read offline.

That's why choices are also nice. I find the scrolling very helpful as I can't stand it when a verse or paragraph starts on one page and finishes on the next when scrolling would keep it on the same screen.
Either way, the current flash provides for horrible eyestrain for those sensitive to seizures, etc..., being able to slow down the page change would make the application much more pleasant for some people to use (as would search capabilities, etc.... while off line)

Gary... it should also be noted that when implementing the solution by Ebbe, you want to leave the Logos program running while it downloads. If you exit and go back it, it doesn't seem to restart the download process.

Yes, I log on with my Logos username and password to my 32 Gig iPod, download the books, and then when I am offline it doesn't work.

I leave it running all night while downloading.
