Game Changer?

I have always thought Logos is the best tool for using Biblical
language tools, commentaries, large collections, and other reference materials
in study. However, I have never cared to read books cover to cover on a
computer.

The freedom to use Logos books on an e-book reader device, such as
iPad (or perhaps a Kindle?) would likely change that for people like me.
It could make more categories of books attractive.

Of course, first I would actually have to buy one of the devices and get comfortable with it.

It does seem to me that such options greatly increase the value of our already very valuable Logos resources.

Hi Michael,

This is a great topic for discussion but many may not link your title "Game Changer" with Logos and ebook readers. Perhaps, a different title may draw more attention. Again, a good idea.

Yes, the iPad is a game changer, and yes, using Logos on it is definitely a mind expanding experience... I highly recommend it!

Were you suggesting something else? Are you aware that Logos is available native on the iPad. I own a Kindle 2 and an iPad and I highly doubt that the Kindle 2 will ever again be used...

If you purchase and iPad it won't take you long to get comfortable with it. I have found it much less enjoyable to read from a paper book since I've been reading on my iPod Touch and my iPad. I have so many Logos books available to me it is unbelievable. I love using the Passage Guide. The only problem with the iPad is that when I read in bed I fall asleep fairly quickly and the "book" hits me in the face--it weighs 1.6 lbs! [|-)]
