Coping Bible text to Word

I have run into an interesting situation when using "copy Bible Verses." I use Word 2007 and have my default font set as Times New Roman 12 pt. If I start with a blank document and the first thing I do is copy Bible verses, the text is in Calibri 11 pt. It does not matter what style of "copy Bible verses" I use. But if I type any text in my Word document before I copy Bible verses, the text comes out in Times New Roman 12 pt. Anyone have any idea of what is going on?

Have you checked the setting in Word? "retain formatted when pasting into document?"
