A19 - Crash after entering passage in Go bar
1. Entered 1 Timothy 3:15 in Go bar.
2. Selected the passage from drop down.
3. Layout begins to populate, then crashes.
4. Attempted same procedure several times, same result.

I'm no developer so I don't know for sure, but it looks like there might be some conflict with a visual markup you have in a book that is trying to be accessed. Regardless I am filing this in our system.
Are any of the books that would open have visual mark-ups?

As I said in my reply to Roger, I'm not a dev, but it seems in your case that Logos 4 is trying to open an ESV Reverse Internlinear "ResourceViewModel Resource LLS:1.0.10 has RevInt data, but Display doesn't support it."
I'm filing a bug anyway, but what books are opening when you do that search?

Tommy , The Books opened are the ESV, NASB, KJV and the NIV. The commentary opened are the BKC. Maybe this will help. However after crash I tried to open the same scripture again and it opened just fine. Thanks for you looking into this though.

Unfortunately, I do not know what was opening since I simply typed the reference in the Go Bar. The program crashed before the layout could be fully populated. I don't believe any of the resources that should have opened would have visual mark-ups.

I tried several other passages and duplicated the problem (On two separate Macs). Genesis 1:1 works though [:D]

Could you try individual Passage guide and Exegetical guide searches with the citation that causes crashing? I'd like to see if we could narrow it down.

The Passage Guide begins to populate, but L4Mac crashes and shuts down before it's finished.
[And as I said, this is happening on both my Powerbook and my IMac -- same scenario.
Just typed in Romans 16:1. Same Bibles. Commentary: God's Glory Barnhouse. Passage Guide begins to populate then shuts down.

When I go to Genesis 1:1 from the Go Bar I can search the Exegetical Guide too.
When I go to 2 Timothy 3:15 I cannot. It crashes before anything can populate.

I know the Go search searches both but I am trying to narrow down what exactly is causing the crash. That is why I wanted individual Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide searches with the same citations.
Meaning go to Guides menu and open the Guide(s) from there.

I understand that, but I cannot do it with the 2 Tim. citation. It crashes before I can type anything or click anything. The circles in the Guide spin (for a second or two) and then crash.
In Genesis I can search everything. It all works.

What Tommy is requesting is that, rather than typing the reference in the home page, go to the guides menu, select exegetical guide, and then type your reference in the Exegetical Guide panel.

I entered the same citation, 2 Timothy 3:15 in the Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide and it does not crash.

Can you post you layout.db file? Here is where it is: /Users/userfolder/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/uniquefolder/LayoutManager.
After you post it drag it to your desktop, and try the search again to see if it works or not. Thanks
