A time warp??

See if you can find the mysterious time shift in the forum from the evidence below.
I am willing to wager that 'Today' only becomes 'yesterday' at Midnight PDT. I'd almost be willing to say the same guy is behind this that was behind the countdown clock for March madness. It appears to have his fingerprints on it, but it could be a copycat crime.

Yup, I'm guessing you're right. I'd never noticed the problem before, because I'm in PDT.
I'm also guessing you're in EDT because I posted my Occupational Survey answer at 9:05PM my time.

You are correct.
Whatever happened to computer programs that could keep track of local time? I'm beginning to think the folks at Logos think the prime meridian passes through their headquarters (not that that would produce the above results, however).

Well, it does...almost:

Is that Logos address their current location of the new one they are moving into? Perhaps they have designs on some property on Meridian as well. That way the magic mouse used to launch all new Logos resources could be used right on the 'new' prime meridian.

Mark,
The 1313 address is where we are now. The building we are moving into is literally just down the street. Here is a link to where we are now and the location that we are moving to: http://bit.ly/cURmcY. I didn't include the whole Google Maps link since the links to the maps are quite long [:)]

Thank goodness for Google maps for your programmer types. They are going to need that help to get to the new location. What a trek. Down right convenient that they don't have to remember a new set of numbers for the building, just the street name. Should help a lot. (OK I'm joking all you programmers, no messing with my sync file).
At least for now my suspicions about the relocation of the prime meridian may be premature. Meridian Avenue is still quite far from Logos headquarters.
Or does Bob Pritchett live there? HMM.

Yes, but compared to the width of a time zone, the distance between the vertical continuation of Meridian Avenue and Logos headquarters (either their current location or their new location) is miniscule. I had to zoom in far enough to show the street names, but they're essentially right on the meridian if you look at it from a distance. What's a couple of blocks (or three hours) to a programmer or a bean counter? It's just a little rounding error. [;)]

You're probably right. To someone like me it's a biggie, but there are folks who would shrug their shoulders at something like this.
First relocating the prime meridian, what's next? Changing the calendar dating scheme to BL and AL? (Taking liberties with the meaning of AD would be required, but that's just a minor thing, too, isn't it?)
HMM. I still wonder if there's a Pritchett on Meridian Avenue?
And those identical and clearly significant office addresses. Both 1313. Who has Bullinger's and can look up the hidden meaning of that? And that triangular shaped building. HMM.
My mind is reeling. I must take my rest.
BTW: if you don't hear from me for a couple of days be very, very careful about opening your door. I'm just sayin'. Just in case.

And it gets worse for somebody living at GMT+10.00! If they drop "today" and "yesterday" I may cope with it...

And if you are GMT (or CUT) -10 then today becomes tomorrow. 9:00 PM tonight becomes tomorrow on the west coast.
