I'd buy them both. Although the second one seems to be out of print.
I'd by them both, too. Being out of print never stopped Logos. They could bring it back into "print" (in digital format) again if the publisher (IVP) is OK with that. Since they have a good relationship with IVP, I'm sure they could work something out...
I corresponded with the Associate Publisher of IVP, Andy Le Peau, yesterday. He said that the Dictionary of Scottish Church History & Theology originated with T&T Clark and that IVP did not hold the electronic rights to the work. T&T Clark is now owned by Continuum.
I decided it could not hurt to ask Continuum to consider digitizing the work with Logos. Maybe if enough of us showed interest they would go for it. Below is the e-mail I wrote.

I wanted to write and ask if Continuum would consider consider making The Dictionary of Scottish Church History & Theology available in a digital form via Logos.I and many other students of theology would benefit tremendously from it being more widely accessible. I originally contacted IVP in the U.S. and they told me that the copyright was held by T&T Clark.Thank you for your consideration.Mark DenningMaster of Divinity studentGordon-Conwell Theological SeminaryCharlotte, North Carolina
Here is the response I got from T & T Clark

Thanks for posting that, Mark. You should reply back and say "No, preferably in Logos form, please."
("preferablyin print form." -- He must long for life in the 20th century. [:P])
Yea, that's basically what I did. I alos threw in a plug for IVP who I'm a bit fond of. They printed it in the US before so why not again.

Thank You for your reply Mr. Kraft! I'm excited to learn that it will become available again and I would urge you to make it available in both electronic and print form. I would not hesitate to propose that the electronic form will be as or more popular than the print form. I know graduate students like myself are making the shift to putting their reference works on electronic platforms because it is so much easier to search and use not to mention storage. Please consider using IVP again. They have lots of experience with putting titles out in both print and electronic form with Logos.Thank You,Mark
