$170+ a book??

Is this correct? I've been wanting to read Littman's translation and commentary on Tobit, but this price seems way too high....even for a Logos enhanced resource.

Very high pricing is unfortunately the norm for Brill.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Wow, you are correct. Brill sales the print digital version for $151: https://brill.com/view/title/8650
This book only has 211 pages, that is over 70 cents a page! This is insane pricing! Who can afford this?

University Libraries? If you sell at a premium price to several thousand university libraries (maybe on a contract?), I would assume you cover the production costs there as opposed to trying to sell it at a reasonable price to tens of thousands of lay-persons or scholars. Just my guess, I am not in the publishing business.

We've actually been working with Brill to lower the prices on some of their Logos editions. You should see a drop on this price soon.

The series has dropped significantly now to $749 - much more affordable.
Ben - is there any possibility of having these volumes available for individual sale?

I see it for $599 - but this probably because of my academic discount. This is a huge price drop! I, too, would like to see individual titles be for sale, but this is a push in the right direction. Brill has some great resources. At the previous pricing, I wouldn't have even consider purchasing these books.
Even at $749, this means the cost is $57 a book. That seems more realistic.
