I'm coming to the conclusion that I'll never really use the Semeia resource....so either it just sits there not benefiting anyone, or I give it to someone who wants it.

Now...a few things: The original resource was a CDROM, which I don't have anymore...so you'll have to be willing to go to: ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/ and download the books.

If you are willing to download the books, and willing to pay the fee, then this resource goes to the first one who claims it.

I think everyone who uses Logos software has probably collected books that they feel will never be used and/or are not wanted.

It would be nice if there could be a Forum dedicated to the exchange of unwanted volumes either for free or for the cost of the License transfer. It would certainly make more resources available to folks around the globe who otherwise would not be able to afford them but could definitely make use of them.

That is a generous idea, but I'm sure it could would get out of hand if not implemented properly.

Wow..I hadn't noticed that.

Others have given away their Logos products...In fact i called them today and asked them how to do it and told them I was going to give it to someone on the forum...

Oh well...nice idea....but...I guess I keep em hidden and unused.

EDITED TO ADD: I just got an email from Logos customer service that said that they couldn't transfer the license for this resource anyway since it's already licensed to me.

That doesn't sound accurate but...oh well...

They don't allow you to transfer licenses for individual resources that are part of a larger package. However if you bought Semeia separately on its own, you should be able to transfer it.
