I opened a Morphological search screen by right clicking a word in the OpenText Clause Analysis. I accidentally hit the "?" key instead of the ">" key and the program crashed. Log is attached.

[:O] OH NO!!!! That's the sequence for slow acting processor failure. [:)]
Maybe I'm exaggerating just a bit. [:D]
Sorry I can't help...I am trying to pad my posts a bit
I can reproduce a similar crash by right clicking a morphology entry in O'Text Clause Analysis and selecting Morph Search --> NVPM at Hebrews 13:22

Fred, I can't follow the steps you describe. Could you elaborate your description for me.
thanks,

If you right click a word in OpenText then select morph search then type a character in the search box at the end of the string that is inserted by the program it crashes. The first reproduction below came just by hitting the space bar.

This reproduction came by typing a question mark (?). That is what I accidentally hit last night.

I can do the same thing(hit the space bar, type other characters, etc. in the search bar) by right clicking a word in the NKJV fulll screen interlinear and I do not crash.
If you right click a word in OpenText then select morph search
If I right click a word in the O'text Greek NT as you describe I cannot induce a crash.
If I right click a word in the O'text Clause Analysis I do not get an option for Morph Search. I get a crash only by clicking the morph code:-

The crashes I was talking about above involved right clicking the Lemma and running a morph search from there. The crashes occurred only when I tried to do something (type a character, hit the space bar, etc.) in the search box.
I repeated the steps you illustrate above and did get an immediate crash when I clicked the morph code. It appears to be the same crash, so I am assuming it is all tied to the same problem.

I thought initially it was the sequence for fingers that are too fat and hit the wrong button. I am not the one who crashed the stock market yesterday...just L4[;)]
I can reproduce this bug; thanks for confirming and reporting it.
I am assuming that the morph crash fix in RC2 was not intended to address the problems discussed in this thread. Actually I guess in a sense maybe it does address at least on of the issues. The screen shot below represents one way to fix the crash when selecting the Morph code; take away the options. LOL
Also I tested the other crash produced when right clicking on a word in OpenText; selecting Lemma, then morph search of that lemma; then hitting the space bar or trying to type a character in the search box. It still crashes.

I am not complaining as ya'll just got this today and I would not have expected it to be fixed so quickly. I also post the screen shot because I am not sure you are aware of this bug.
This is why I couldn't reproduce your crash. I make the same selection but:-
As you see - no option to perform a Morph Search (both in RC1 and RC2).
THIS IS PERPLEXING!
The screen shot below represents one way to fix the crash when selecting the Morph code; take away the options. LOL
Where i could get the Morph option I can no longer perform a Morph Search (compare to my first screen shot).
That's correct, it was removed because the Clause Visualizer resources are not searchable in Morph Search.

I had found they were not searchable at all! But that is no surprise. Why Fred continues to get a Morph option when selecting a word is the mystery!
Also I tested the other crash produced when right clicking on a word in OpenText; selecting Lemma, then morph search of that lemma; then hitting the space bar or trying to type a character in the search box. It still crashes. How are you repeating the crash if the Morph Search is not available from the Clause Analysis. Are you bringing it up from Greek NT instead? If so, I've tried typing different characters in the Find box, but can't reproduce the crash.
Attached is a video that illustrates the crash sequence. I do not have any sound and please forgive the poor quality of the video. It is the first one I have ever done.
The sequence illustrated is as follows:
This is repeatable every time I do it in OpenText. I have not tried it in other resources.

EDIT: One additional note; I performed the same sequence in the Cascadia and Lexham Clause Analysis resources and got the same crash with each.
Hope this helps track down the the problem.

I thought you might do that! I do get an option for Morph when I click a word in Lexham and Cascadia, but it does not give me a Morph Search - - so no crashes for me!
The inconsistency for me is that Opentext does not give the Morph option in this situation.

Do you get the Morph search option on the left side of the pane if you select Lemma on the right side (just above Morph)?

Yes, I do. And it crashes when I attempt the search.
Please sort this one, Logos!
Thanks for the additional info; I am able to reproduce it as pictured.
Thanks Bradley. I won't expect an update tonight to fix this; god home and get some sleep. I'll turn my computer on bright and early in the morning to download the update[:O] By the way, I am on central time, so bright and early for me is still night time for you; so don;t get too much sleep. [:D]
Seriously, you guys are great. Have a good weekend.
