Home Page Ribbon

I'm new to Logos and can't seem to even get the basics right. For example I'm running Logos 4 Alpha on a MacBook Pro. On my Home page at the top I see the Home, Library, and Search icons with the search box but there is no pull down menus to the right of that for file, guides, tools, command, and shortcuts. How do I get these added to my homepage?
Also, what do you recommend as the best way to get trained on Logos and to continually progress with it?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Welcome to L4. There is a lot to learn and I hope you have as much fun as I have had learning it. I use a PC so I cannot answer your question regarding the MAC screen layout; you may want to try the Mac forum for that.
I would spend some time reviewing the tutorial videos on the the logos support site http://www.logos.com/videos as well as the user created videos http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Video_Tutorials on the wiki. I think you will also find that if you have a question about something, there are a number of people on the forum who can provide timely, knowledgeable input to help you out. Several of the regular forum users have helped me tremendously in using the features and resources in L4.

Those items are on the menu bar at the top of the screen, just like on other Macintosh applications.

Thanks. How about the command and shortcut items. They sound like they would be useful but I can't find them on the top.

Not yet implemented. You might start seeing them in an Alpha that comes after 19.1 and before 21.
Again, I must emphasize the "might" part.

I'm not certain that this is what you are looking for, but here are the commands for Logos 4. I'm not certain that they are all implemented for Mac but many of them are. You can see them here: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Commands

Alan,
Thanks so much for that link, I didn't even know we could do that in Logos 4!
