Sharing

I would like to be able to share the collections I have defined - not the books, but the titles so that others can use the set of resources I have put together.

Similarly, the sharing of tags would be helpful. If someone has tagged all the resources in the Scholars base package, I would like to have those book tagged in my library as well.

The addition of IMPORT and EXPORT functions for collections and tags would be useful to me and others.

Blessings,
Floyd

I agree.  Before Logos 4 I could copy my collections file and share it with someone, with book titles under those collections and all.  Now I can't figure out how to just share my collection designations.  This would be a very helpful feature to reinstitute.

This is quite an old thread, but I'll respond anyway.

Collections work very differently, and in my opinion much better  than they did in Libronix. To learn more look at the wiki article here: http://wiki.logos.com/Collections

Here's one way to share a collection, by just sharing the filter/rules for the collection. The following is my collection for all my English  language Bibles type:Bible lang:eng You could create this collection by following the instructions in the wiki article and putting this in the box underneath "Start with resources matching." You may get a few false positives there, but just subtract those out in the section "- Minus these resources."

EDIT: By the way, Welcome to the forums!
