Notes and Clippings Ease of Use

There are few things I still miss about L3. One of them, however, is the ease of usability when posting new notes to already existing note files. With the ease of a right-click, one could select from any of a number of pre-selected note files. I used a system between scriptural notes (tagged to bibles), exegetical observations (from Hebrew and Greek texts), and reading notes (while reading textbooks and theological journals).

Unfortunately, L4 presently only allows me to select one of the 2 most recent documents (clippings & notes). This makes it a hassle to keep an organized note-filing system unless anyone out there has a better suggestion for me.

I have run into the same problem with clippings (a great feature of L4 that helps me reckon with the loss of my prior organizational ease, btw). If I keep more than one clippings file, I'd better be prepared to go about opening the clippings page the long way. True, Bible software should only be so easy and I'm definitely getting lazy; =) however, this seems like it could be a useful added feature - one which already existed (concerning notes) in the older version of Logos.

Actually it allows you to select among all open note and clipping files.

I didn't realize it was the open ones. This helps me to at least know.

It still doesn't save the hassle, though. When I'm reading - be it in a commentary, scripture, journals...whatever - I would like to have the ability L3 gave me to quickly right-click and select the respective note file I would like. But is opening up the note file the long (but still short) way that difficult?...Not at all. :) Thanks for the help.

Open or last two if none are open. Yes, there are still some kinks to get worked out in notes but knowing to open in advance the notes files you expect to you should help some.
