To assist the visually impaired, can I change the search hits highlight color?

    No. Using OR between search terms causes different highlighting color

    Screen shot shows same Bible search results with different highlighting color.

    FYI: nan = not a number (does not occur in English Bible), nano can be a time abbreviation (also not found in English Bible)

    By the way, if want more SPAM email, then posting email address in a public forum works. Alternative is editing post to remove it.
