Resource Wont Download
Hey Guys,
I just purchased a new resource for my Logos library and I can't seem to make it download. The laptop is plugged in and it is indexing but it wont download. Any thoughts/suggestions?

As a late bday present I was given some money to buy a couple of resources. I got one on prepub and purchased the other one from the twitter deals. The one that should've downloaded is: "Encountering the New Testament" but nothing has downloaded. In fact, the update resources command downloaded a little over a gigabite of updates and when it finally got done, my new book still doesn't show - not even the free book from Spurgeon that's available 'til June 22nd. I may have to call CS to get them to unlock it for me. I used to have Encountering the NT but returned it not long ago due to some turn of events, so maybe that has something to do with it not unlocking properly...I don't know. I did the update now command too but no updates found keeps appearing.

DAL - This is a very old thread, for a very old version of Logos. If you are still having troubles, please create a new thread explaining the issue. Also, haven't you migrated to at least the free L5 engine?

DAL is not the only one with this problem. I am running Logos 5 for Windows and tried to order the Spurgeon. When it didn't download after being left on overnight, I went back through the link and reordered - thinking that I forgot to finish the order or something last night. Then I tried "Update Resources".
I see it now in my order history (twice) but it is not greyed out when I try to order. I suspect there is an issue at the Logos website side of things.

I concur. I "purchased" this resource this morning… but it isn't showing up. It is a problem with the Logos servers / account system, rather than the software.

Wow didn't realize the thread was old. Anyway, I guess it was a server problem that night. The next afternoon I started Logos again and it finally did what it's supposed to do: "Prepare my library," "Download Resources," "Restart" program and then "Prepare Library" again. So my two new books were added "one unlocked" since I had it before and the other one downloaded and installed. So far so good.
BTW, I do have Logos 5 Bronze along with other resources I've purchased over time.

Great! The reason I asked about L5 was actually not about the base packages (i.e. "Logos 5 Bronze") but because you had posted in the L4 Mac forum. It would be best to create a new thread in the right forum. [:)] (The L4 forums are mostly ghost towns). [;)]
