How can I find out the age of a commentary or book without opening it? This is really slowing down my research as I am required to use resources published within the last ten years. Is there a way to sort the documents by age? The commentaries come up in no particular order I can discern.
There is no good way. Typically, however, Journal Articles are better for that.

You might want to check what, "published in the last 10 years" means. Some of the stuff in Logos has a different epub date than what the original item was published in print, and there can sometimes be no way to know what the original was (unless they fixed that while I wasn't looking).
And BTW, welcome to the forums.
Eating a steady diet of government cheese, and living in a van down by the river.
This should be easy to do in Logos but because of poor meta data it is not as DOC B has pointed out.
Yes! For example, I just checked a book I bought tonight. The "Publication Date" field states "2009." In the front matter, the book states both "Copyright © 1998" and "ePub Edition August 2009."
I guess I will go back to my, "no, there is no good way." [:s]
