Pre-pub - Analytical Lexicon of the Vulgate

I'd like to see the Analytical Lexicon of the Vulgate make it to publication, but it's not doing so well in pre-pub. https://www.logos.com/product/148408/analytical-lexicon-of-the-vulgate

I find the Lexham Greek and Hebrew analytical lexicons for the OT and NT useful as a supplement to lexicons, especially when I link them to BDAG and HALOT, so that I can see the word's cognates, senses, and the corresponding Hebrew words for the Greek, and the corresponding LXX Greek words for the Hebrew. The Vulgate Analytical lexicon also has similar features, so it will be great to have it linked to the Latin lexicons.

Although I'll admit I'm not sure if this prepub is a subset (and needed) of the Dictionary of Latin Forms, which appears to have covered a wider waterfront?

FL missed an opportunity to bring this title to the forefront in April when they were giving away Clementine Vulgate and the associated Reverse Interlinears for next to nothing. Maybe they can add it to Verbum 8 bass packages to get it over the line.

I compared the Analytical Lexicon's sample pages with the entries in Dictionary of Latin Forms, and the two resources seem independent of each other.

For dominus and benefacio, the English definitions and parsings are different, and also the Analytical lexicon has additional details such as frequencies, Greek and Hebrew alignments with frequencies, and all the inflections listed under the lexical form. The Dictionary of Latin forms instead includes the individual inflected forms as dictionary headwords and doesn't have all the Vulgate words, though it has words not found in the Vulgate as well.

So I don't think the two resources compete with each other, I'd find both of them useful linked with each other and other Latin lexicons.

Re-looking this, I think the matching to the greek/hebrew ('alignments' ... sounds like highway construction) would be very useful.

I'll be the first to admit I don't place much value in Jerome's version, nor its later versions. But I do find value in the old latin (fragments) and the early 'church fathers' where latin acts as a commentary on what they perceived meaning as, at the time.

Checking my prepubs, I notice the Vulgate Analytical is up to 50%. Normally, I‘d say, dream on.

But given the data and code are already in place (and Isaiah well experienced), this would be a good Extended Feature resource for L8. I assume it’d work with L7.
