BUG: Sentence Diagram missing hyperlinked words when built from PB Bible (WIN 7.15 Beta 4; 7.15.0.00

When I create a Sentence Diagram using a PB Bible, any words that are hyperlinked do not show up in the text imported into the Sentence Diagram Tool.  Hyperlinked words are missing.

My expectation (and request) is that PB Bibles will import into the Sentence Diagram like native Bibles, despite any hyperlinks, footnotes or other visual modifications.

Attached is a sample DOCX from my PB Bible.

  • I use Copy Bible Verses with a custom format to bring the study passage from the NET bible into my DOCX file.
  • I edit the text based on my studies.  Any changes I make are hyperlinked to the resource or tool that influenced my change.
  • I build the PB Bible to use in my studies and lesson/sermon preparation.

This is the text of the PB Bible after it is built from the attached DOCX file:

This is what the text looks like when I import it from the PB Bible into the Sentence Diagram tool:

    Hi Tim,

I believe this is by design so that footnotes which are almost always hyperlinks are not copied over. However, you should be able to copy and paste the text from the Bible and then use the split feature to break apart the text.

    Hi Philana,

Well, it does get the whole text into the tool and it does split the text into individual words, but it ends up being one long line.  A passage 6 verses long ends up more than five screen-widths wide (on a wide screen laptop).  Not very usable. [:(]

Guess I'll have to copy/split one verse at a time. (Ouch)

It would sure be nice if the code poets can come up with an automated solution.
