Split view not scrolling in sync

somehow i managed to close the faith life bible study and was left with just with the lexham bible. I managed to get the  split view back but now they wont scroll in sync. They scroll independently. How can i get the bottom to Automatically open whatever verse i open at the top and scrolll as i scroll

Basically (on Android), you need to click the Link icon (bottom left) whilst in Tab view and then tap the resource where you see a white circle. Then click Done at top right.
