Resource losing my place
I was trying out the web app and came across a problem I hope was not expected behavior. I was reading a book on my desktop version and then wanted to continue reading the book later on my phone. The Mobile app didn't seem to have a way to easily show my pinned resources (on the logos app) to easily find the book, but the mobile app does so I decided to use that.
As I was reading, I came to a verse reference in the book that I clicked on to read. It opened the reference in a Bible as expected. The problem was that when I went back to the book I was reading, it had lost my place and was all the way back to the beginning of the book. Clearly, this renders this app completely useless for general reading of resources if this can happen.
I have to assume this is not the expected behavior, but I wasn't doing anything complicated either when it happened. Is this a known issue?

I'm sorry but I don't understand this - can you clarify please?
You say the Mobile app doesn't have a way to show pinned resources (and I'm not sure what you mean by pinned resources) but that the mobile app does. Did you mean the web app in the first instance or something else?

Was this in the mobile app or the web app? If the mobile app is this on Android or iOS?

I'm not sure what the feature is called, but it is when you drag a resource pane to the Logos toolbar and an icon for the book/resource is created that you can re-open later with a single click. These 'pinned' items do not appear to be available on the mobil app (at least I could not find where they are), but they are readily available on the web app and the desktop app.

It was in the web app on an Android phone that my place in the resource was lost and I ended up back at the beginning of the book.

Understood - thanks. And, yes, this shortcut capability is not available in the mobile apps.

I've just tried to do this on the web app on my Android phone and found it didn't really work well at all - and I know the focus of the developers isn't on optimising for mobile at the moment. I would recommend using the mobile app in this scenario - is there anything you are trying to do that you can't do in that?

I'm basically just looking for an easy, convenient way to read from the large number of books in my library on my different devices. An ebook reader app or mode from Faithlife that allowed me to do this would be great. They have the Faithlife ebook app, but it doesn't see items from my Logos, which is what I really want.

There is an item under settings to toggle whether or not your entire library is displayed or not - check the setting of "Faithlife Ebooks Resources only"
(Or at least that's how it appears on iOS, I don't have that app on Android)

Thanks, I was not aware of that option. It's a bit like turning on the fire hose, though. It would be nice to be able to send specific books to the app, or even better, have a view filter based on a tag. I tag all my resources that are items I would read through from front to back as 'books' (as opposed to a commentary, dictionary or other more article based resources). I would love to be able to limit the app to just these to pare down from the thousands there now.

To limit the ones you see in your library, tag them on the desktop and then use the string mytag:tagname in the “search library” box in the mobile app library - so, in your case, mytag:books

Perfect! I would never have suspected that would work in the ebook app. It would be nice if they added saved searches in the future for situations like this, but for now, this will work great.

Do what Graham says. You have to use tags.
