How can I search a Greek text for multiple lemmas - e.g., zoe & aionios?
Hi Henry - and welcome to the forums
One of the ways to generate a search for a single lemma is right-clicking on the word, selecting lemma in the context menu and then "search -> this resource"
which gives you something like this
That gives you the structure of the lemma you need in the search term.
Then, having done that for the other lemma and copying it, you can combine them using "AND", "OR" of other relationships depending on what you are interested in
Does this give you what you need?
Graham
Thanks Graham.
After posting my querry I did essentially what you indicated. The only difference (insignificant!) is that I used an ampersand (&) instead of AND.
I was hoping that there was a way to just select the "phrase" (as in Jn 3:16) and have that "appear" in the search box.
Again, thanks for your response.
Hank (Henry)
HI Hank
You can do that as well - select the phrase, right-click, ensure the phrase is selected and you get options to search for just the lemmas or the exact morphological forms
with the first option giving
and the second giving
Thanks Graham,
That is what I wanted and it works very nicely indeed!
